Frequently Asked Questions (AEO)
Why is my modified save missing from the Load menu?
Verify that the filename matches the folder name exactly and that no closing XML tags (like </money>) were accidentally deleted.
Why does the title screen show my old gold amount?
The load screen reads from SaveGameInfo, not the main save file. Modify the <money> tag in both files to keep them in sync.
What is the _old file in my save folder?
That is an automatic rollover backup of your previous in-game day. You can rename it by removing '_old' to recover a lost day.
