Save files may contain embedded personal data such as account usernames, profile IDs, or system path timestamps. To protect your privacy, never send raw save files. Instead, describe the issue using the technical checklist below.
What to Include in a Bug Report
- Game title and distribution platform (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, etc.).
- Operating system (e.g. Windows 11 23H2) and browser version (e.g. Chrome 126).
- File extension (.dat, .save, .rpgsave) and approximate file size.
- Detected engine/format and exact error message shown in SaveLab.
- Step-by-step actions taken before and after opening the file.
Security & Vulnerability Disclosures
If you believe you have discovered a security defect (such as network data leakage or a malicious payload evasion), please report reproducible steps without publishing proof-of-concept exploits publicly. Security concerns are triaged with highest priority.
