Terms of Service
By using SaveLab, you agree to the following terms, safety guidelines, and scope of use.
Last Reviewed 2026.08.221. Scope of Permitted Use
SaveLab is intended solely for inspecting and editing offline, single-player game save files that you legally own or license. You agree to comply with all applicable local laws and each game's End User License Agreement (EULA).
2. Prohibited Conduct
- Exploiting saves for unfair advantages in online multiplayer, leaderboards, or competitive tournaments.
- Bypassing anti-cheat engines, copy protection, digital rights management (DRM), or monetization gates.
- Accessing, tampering with, or distributing third-party save files without explicit authorization.
- Submitting malicious payloads or attempting to disrupt the integrity and availability of the service.
3. Standalone Backups and User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for creating and verifying a separate backup copy of your save files prior to making any modifications. Because game updates, cloud synchronization conflicts, and mod variations can cause save incompatibilities, you assume full responsibility for importing any modified files back into your games.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
SaveLab is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee error-free parsing across all game engines or versions. We reserve the right to modify supported formats and safety rules at any time without prior notice.
5. Trademark and Non-Affiliation Notice
All product names, logos, and brands mentioned on SaveLab are property of their respective trademark holders. SaveLab is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher or console manufacturer.
